Women and the Wind is a documentary project that follows a group of women sailing across the North Atlantic aboard Mara Noka, a 50-year-old wooden catamaran. The film explores the connection between humanity and nature, and the spirit of curiosity and adventure that comes from life at sea.
I supported the project by photographing the Wilmington premiere, capturing both the event and audience experience. My work documented the community engagement surrounding the screening and contributed to sharing the film’s story with a wider audience.
